On February 08, 2022, the affiliate session of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm - «Patent disputes in pharma: the letter of the law vs extreme necessity» - took place in the framework of the Distant & Digital conference.
Aleksey Zalesov, Managing partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» moderated the session and the speakers were the following - Maxim Zaviruschev (Novartis Pharma), Alexander Korolenko (Teva) and Vladimir Altergot (Valenta Pharmaceuticals).
The participants discussed the issues of patenting and formation of patent portfolios at pharmaceuticals companies, developing a patent strategy for market entry, patent dispute resolving strategies as well as an attitude toward possible changes in the Russian patent system.
