Natalia Samsonova worked for a major IP law firm in a litigation team for more than 7 years. Her previous experience as a researcher and co-inventor in one of the major pharmaceutical companies in Russia enables her to understand the needs of the clients from their point of view.


Dr. Samsonova is an indispensable part of the litigation team in pharmaceutical patent disputes with a deep expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology. Natalia is capable of revealing hidden peculiarities of the substantial matter of a patent case no lawyer could trace.

The value of her experience in patent invalidation trials and in preparing numerous freedom-to-operate and validity opinions in the field of biochemistry, molecular biology and pharmaceuticals is hard to overestimate. She's also experienced in patent drafting, always keeping in mind the real goals of patenting.


Most part of Dr. Samsonova's work is devoted to major pharmaceutical Russian and foreign companies, such as Teva, Gedeon Richter, Valenta and many others.


Natalia holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology, a M.Sc. degree from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in biophysics. Apart from her profound technical background, Dr. Samsonova also holds a Master's degree from the Moscow University of State Management in the field of law.
