Rospatent has cited a trademark of Mundipharma against a trademark application of «DHC» Corporation, a client of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm. Associates of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm advised the client to cancel protection of the cited trademark due to its non-use to overcome the citation. The associates prepared and filed the statement of claim (non-use cancellation action), represented the interests of the client before the Court and held negotiations with the defendant (the owner of the cited trademark). As the result of negotiations, the defendant agreed to assign the disputed trademark to the client of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm. The parties entered an amicable agreement.
On February 04, 2021, the Russian IP Court approved the amicable agreement. «DHC» Corporation was represented before the court by Ryabov Vladislav, Patent and Trademark Attorney, Senior Associate of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm.
