On June 03, 2022, an invalidation action was filed against the grant of patents of the company «DIAMED-Pharma» EA031260 and RU2612014, protecting a medicinal product for the treatment of arthrological diseases including the sodium salt of chondroitin sulfate as an active component, claiming that the invention protected by patents did not comply with the «inventive step» requirement. The patent owner did not agree with these arguments and submitted a response, as a result of which the person who filed the invalidation action abandoned the claims. On August 11, 2022, the proceeding was terminated.
