On April 26, 2023, on the International Intellectual Property Day, the founding congress of the Regional Public Organization «Eurasian Patent Attorneys Assembly» was held.
The association will develop the institution of Eurasian patent attorneys at the regional level, promote the interests of the professional community and improve legal regulation in the Eurasian region, together with the Eurasian Patent Organization.
The organization was founded by more than twenty Eurasian patent attorneys from seven EAPO member states: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
Eurasian patent attorney Eduard Shablin (Russian Federation) was elected as the President of the Assembly, and Sergey Belyaev (Republic of Belarus) as the Chairman of the Council.
Aleksey Zalesov, Managing Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners», became a member of the Council of the Assembly, and Partner Maria Makhlina - a member of the Audit Commission.
