A regular meeting of the Rospatent Quality Council took place on November 26, 2021, and was dedicated to the issues of trademark legal protection on the territory of the Russian Federation. The Managing Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm Aleksey Zalesov took part in the meeting.

Among the matters discussed were the issues of the possibility of granting legal protection to designations, containing the name of the city, as well as the application of paragraphs 7 and 10 of Article 1483 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (Grounds for Refusing State Registration to a Trademark).
