The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has amended the List of goods (groups of goods) in respect of which the requirements for the protection of intellectual rights by the right holders of products, that were put into circulation outside the territory of the Russian Federation, are not applied.
According to the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the List has been supplemented with reagent kits and consumables for equipment for cancer treatment.
The «Renault» brand was excluded from the list due to the fact that «AVTOVAZ» assumed obligations to provide warranty service for this brand, including the sale of spare parts.
The list was also supplemented with brands of automotive spare parts, products of the radio-electronic, chemical industry and other goods (Castrol, Liqui Moly, Datsun, Alienware, etc.). Some perfume and cosmetic brands were removed from the list of exceptions (Lancôme, Redken, Yves Saint Laurent, Helena Rubinstein, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Kerastase).
Sections 50-55 of the EAEU FEACN (silk, wool, cotton, other vegetable textile fibers; paper yarn and fabrics from paper yarn, chemical threads, chemical fibers) have also been excluded from the List.
