The «Patent attorney» magazine has published an article by the Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Natalia Samsonova - «The expediency of including several objects in the claims of a patent for an invention for biotechnological objects» (in Russian).
The author of the article argues in favor of including several different objects in the claims of a patent for a biotechnological invention. This approach allows not only to ensure effective patent protection of a biotechnological or pharmacological product, but also to preserve the validity of a patent in part in relation to one or more objects in case of a threat of invalidation of the patent.
