Despite the ongoing reforms, the FMCG market in Russia is steadily developing, and FMCG sales represent one of the fastest-growing areas of the domestic economy. In most cases, the main intellectual property rights that ensure the exclusivity of a particular product sold by a distributor belong to the manufacturers. In this regard, the author considers the issues in the field of intellectual property rights faced by distributors, the principle of limited authorization of parallel imports, and the actions of when they receive a claim from the right holder.
