On February 29, 2024, patent attorney, associate of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm Darya Kushnarenko held a seminar at the Russian School of Management on the topic «Contractual legal work in the field of intellectual property law and digital law. Patent Law».
At the seminar the expert covered such topics as the characteristics and specifics of contracts concluded in intellectual property law and information law, in particular contracts for software development, contracts related to the development and implementation of big data processing systems, contracts for the maintenance of computer programs, automated and information systems, licensing agreements on the use of software, contracts and documents in electronic format. Issues related to distance trading, assignment of rights to manage a domain name, legal protection of objects created using neural networks, employee’s results of intellectual activity and the correct registration of rights to them were also brought up.
