On May 05, 2022, the decision on China's accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement came into force.
Starting from that date, applicants can designate China in their international design applications. At the same time, applicants filing applications to the China State Intellectual Property Office will be able to obtain industrial design protection in any of the 94 member countries of the Hague System.
