On December 12, 2019 Managing Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm participated as a member counsel in the gathering of the Council on Intellectual Property (IP Council) of the Council of the Federation — the Upper House of the Russian Parliament. The meeting was dedicated to a new bill to be introduced soon to the lower House of the Russian Parliament (the State Duma) dedicated to the regulation of the intellectual property rights on the dual use technologies developed under the state funding. The Speaker of the Council of the Federation Mrs. Valentina Matveenko chaired this meeting of the IP Council. The Council on Intellectual Property of the Council of the Federation is an advisory board working pro bono in the interests of the Russian Parliament's Upper House.
