On February 24, 2025, the Presidium of the Russian IP Court overturned the decision of the court of first instance, which invalidated the decisions of Rospatent to invalidate granting of protection to the trademarks «Lactomed», «Лактомед», «LACTOMED».

The holder of a series of trademarks containing the «Baby Go» element filed a claim with the Arbitration Court regarding the infringement by our client of the series of trademarks when introducing «TAKA Baby Go!» baby diapers into civil circulation, having demanded, in particular, compensation in the amount of 10,000,000 rubles. We managed to prove that the likelihood of confusion does not arise, which excludes the infringement of the Plaintiff's trademarks.

In January-February 2025, Managing Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm, PhD in Law Aleksey V. Zalesov delivered an author course of lectures on «International Intellectual Property Law» for second-year master's students of the Faculty of Law of the National Research University – Higher School of Economics as a guest lecturer.
