A foreign company filed a claim with the Moscow Arbitration Court against the client of «A.Zalesov & Partners» for infringement of the inventions under two Russian patents for cancer treatment medications, recovery of compensation and prohibition to sell generic drugs until 2026 and, disagreeing with the court's decision, filed an appeal. The court of appeal instance confirmed the legality and validity of the first instance court's decision, leaving the judicial act unchanged and the appeal without satisfaction.

Irina Ozolina commented to Kommersant publishing house on issues related to the procedure for paying roaylties to patent holders in cases where the decision to use their inventions was made by the Government of the Russian Federation (Article 1360 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The publisher's question arose due to the fact that different manufacturers of semaglutide, who were granted the right to produce it by the Government decision, disagreed on how to determine the royalty rate due to the patent holder. Irina Ozolina explained the reasons for the discrepancies in the interpretation of regulatory legal acts.
On March 26, 2025, the Arbitration Court of the Khabarovsk Territory invalidated the decision of the FAS Russia on the results of an unscheduled inspection of compliance with legislation in the field of procurement of the medicinal product for medical use of Dapagliflozin for preferential categories of the Khabarovsk Territory citizens. «A.Zalesov & Partners» team represented the interests of the Third Party, which did not make independent claims regarding the subject of the dispute, the Winner of the Auction.
On March 04, 2025, the Arbitration Court of Moscow considered the application of AKSELFARM LLC to challenge the decision and order of the FAS Russia regarding Axitinib medication for the treatment of renal cell cancer and came to the conclusion that the Applicant's claims are justified and subject to satisfaction in full. «A.Zalesov & Partners» lawyers while representing the interests of the Applicant proved that the antimonopoly law has not been violated by the Applicant, and that the FAS erroneously applied the provisions of Article 14.5 of the Law on the Protection of Competition.
