On October 30, 2020 the Russian IP Court ruled in favor of Rospatent's earlier decision where the Client's trademark registration was kept in force. Initially our client has detected an infringement of his rights based on unfair competition practices of the opponent. Once the motion to the antimonopoly bodies was filed, the opponent tried to cancel the Client's trademark registration, which is crucial for the antimonopoly case. This reaction is not a new strategy, but may become effective, once successful. Nevertheless, this opponent's attempt was turned down by Rospatent and now by the Court.
