On July 29, 2021, the regular meeting of the Quality Council of Rospatent was held. The following issues were open for discussion:
- issue of the possible citing of a geographical indication (unregistered, but known for homogeneous goods) against a trademark during its prosecution;
- problems of determining goods homogeneity on the example of class 20 of ICGS;
- conceptual suggestions for harmonization of the Russian legislation with the international laws in terms of the unity of invention requirement (for the execution of p.23 of the road map to business environment transformation).
