On May 16, 2024, Maria Makhlina, Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm participated online in the regional seminar «Common Examination Space: Current Issues of Patenting» in Armenia and made a presentation on the feasibility of including objects of copyright and trademarks in industrial designs at the panel discussion «Examination of the designs with elements of the protected trademarks and copyright objects: challenges and possible ways of resolving».
In terms of the discussion participants shared the examples from their practice and practical advice on what the applicant should do in order to avoid copyright or trademark infringement.
