An article by Irina Ozolina was published in the latest issue of the scientific and practical magazine «Intellectual Property. Industrial Property» No. 3/2022 entitled «Evasion of the law and other types of unfair behavior when patenting inventions and utility models».
The author of the publication examines various types of abuse of rights by the applicants in the process of patenting inventions/utility models, suggests mechanisms to prevent such behavior, and also substantiates the need to assess the patent holder’s fairness in disputes on the validity of decisions of the patent office.
