Changes in the geopolitical environment and imposition of restrictive measures by foreign states have had a direct impact on the rights and obligations of participants of the economic activity. In particular, access to justice for Russians has also been affected.
In this article, the author examines consequences of the impact of sanctions both on provision of legal assistance for Russian companies by foreign colleagues and on access to the Russian justice system in cases involving foreigners, using intellectual property disputes as an example.
