From 2017 to 2019 Mr. Istomin worked as an expert at the Federal Institute of Industrial Property in the Division of Textile and Light Industry.
Ivan is responsible for filing national and foreign applications for inventions, industrial designs and utility models, communication with patent offices as well as advising clients on all issues related to application examination.
He also has an experience of holding educational seminars at Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property and Russian Research Institute «Center».
Qualification
Mr. Istomin graduated from the Moscow State University of Radio-Technic, Electronics and Automatics — Russian Technological University - and holds a diploma in Engineering. He also graduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University professional retraining course with a specialization in «Lawyer training: Basis level» as well as from the advanced training courses in «Basics of forensic examination of intellectual property objects». In 2021 Ivan obtained a postgraduate degree from the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (specialty «Law»).
Ivan is the registered Patent Attorney of the Russian Federation.
