The «Economics and Life» portal has published an article by Maria Makhlina, partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm, - «Invalidation of a patent for an industrial design in case it doesn’t meet the patentability criteria «originality»: judicial practice and recommendations» (in Russian).
The author considers the issues of challenging a patent for an industrial design on this basis, as well as some administrative and court cases. Some recommendations are given on what to pay attention to when challenging an industrial design and how one can protect his own industrial design from disputes in future.
