The Russian IP Court upheld the trademark of our client in a series of cases on the early termination of the legal protection of the trademarks due to their non-use initiated by the other manufacturer of confectionery products.

The client of «A.Zalesov & Partners», being the right holder of several trademarks, is interested in obtaining legal protection for them on the territory of the Russian Federation. On the results of the expertise, Rospatent issued a  refusal to grant legal protection to the Principal's trademark based on the opposing trademark belonging to «MARINA B DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED». As parties failed to resolve the dispute peacefully, our Principal has filed a lawsuit for preliminary cancellation of the legal protection of the disputed trademark due to non-use.
