On December 30, 2025, the Moscow Region Arbitration Court upheld a claim filed to protect trademarks of «A.Zalesov & Partners» client, including a well-known trademark «Reduxin».
The defendants sold dietary supplements and weight loss teas using the «Reduslim» designation on various marketplaces. The dispute with the defendants was unsuccessful at the pre-trial stage, leading to a lawsuit alleging infringement of the client's trademark «Reduslim».
During the dispute, the team of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm, successfully demonstrated that the «Reduslim» designation was confusingly similar to the client's «Reduxin» trademarks and that the production, offering and sale of weight loss dietary supplements constituted an infringement of the client's trademark.
Upon the case consideration, the Court upheld the claim's arguments regarding the confusing similarity between the «Reduxin» and «Reduslim» designations. Taking into account the evidence provided by the parties confirming the volume of goods sold, the Court awarded compensation in the amount of 1,400,000 rubles from the three defendants.
