Aleksey Zalesov acted as an official opponent at the defense in the Dissertation Council at the Moscow Law University named after O.E. Kutafin (MSAL)

On October 20, 2026, candidate of legal sciences Aleksey Zalesov acted as an official opponent at the defense of the dissertation of A.V.Andreev on the topic «The Doctrine of Equivalents in Patent Law» in the Dissertation Council 24.2.336.01, created on the basis of the Moscow Law University named after O.E.Kutafin (MSAL).

On October 21, 2026, the Intellectual Property Court approved the settlement agreement in case SIP-251/2025 and, by the same ruling, resolved the issue of recovering the legal costs of «A.Zalesov & Partners» client from the third party, since, had this party properly performed its procedural obligations, a significant portion of the legal costs would not have been incurred, and there would have been no need for this party to file an application for reconsideration of the court case based on new circumstances. This is a rare case of the application of Article 111 of the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, when legal costs are recovered from a party other than the losing party.
