On February 16-17, 2024, the XII International Legal Forum (IP Forum) «Legal protection of intellectual property: issues of theory and practice» took place at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL). The forum was organized by the Department of Intellectual Rights of the University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian IP Court and the Scientific and Educational Center for Law and Bioethics in the field of genomic research and the application of genetic technologies.
Every year the event brings together representatives of various professional fields, united by scientific and practical interest in issues of intellectual property protection. The main topic of this year's IP Forum has become «Freedom and creativity on the Internet: media and authors».
On February 16, within the framework of the Forum, a round table «Patent rights and pharmaceutical disputes in IP: issues of law enforcement practice» took place. Aleksey Zalesov, the Managing Partner of «A.Zalesov & Partners» Patent & Law Firm took in the role of the moderator of the session.
