On February 05, 2022, China joined the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs. The act will enter into force in China on May 05, 2022.
The Hague System provides the possibility of international protection of industrial designs without the need to file a large number of separate applications in each country and/or region of the world. China's accession to this system enables its representatives to promote their developments abroad using the international system of industrial designs without unnecessary time and financial costs. At the same time, it will make it easier for foreign designers to enter the Chinese market.
