On November 02, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation issued a Ruling, having concluded in which cases the actions of a domain administrator might be recognized as an act of unfair competition in relation to the trademark owner.

From January 04, 2025, applicants will be given the opportunity to file one Eurasian design application to obtain protection simultaneously in all eight EAPO member states.

On October 19-22, 2024, the annual AIPPI International Congress was held in Hangzhou (China), where the series of essential resolutions in IP area were adopted. Partners of «A.Zalesov & Partners» prepared the report of the Russian national AIPPI group on liability for unsubstantiated claims of infringement of IP rights and participated in the discussion and adoption thereof.

On October 07, 2024, one of the key events in the field of intellectual property in 2024, took place in Moscow - the fourth Patent Congress, held by the Russian National Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
