«St. Petersburg Collegiate Readings - 2026» conference was held June 14 to 16.
The conference is held annually by the St. Petersburg Bar Association of Patent Attorneys. Patent law experts from Russia and other countries discuss current issues related to the use and protection of intellectual property and share experiences.

On June 15, Natalia Samsonova, partner, Russian Patent Attorney, Eurasian Patent Attorney, and PhD in Biochemistry, presented a paper titled «Temporary Legal Protection of Inventions and Industrial Designs: Doctrinal and Practical Aspects.»
In her report, she examines the conditions for the emergence of Temporary Legal Protection, the scope of rights, limitations and case law, evaluating court approaches to evidentiary assessment and the determination of the scope of rights.
