«Zalesov, Timofeev, Gusev & Partners» (ZTG) announces the restructuring of its Antitrust and Public Procurement practice. This area has now been established as a separate practice within our firm.
Aleksey Zalesov, Head of Intellectual Property practice, will serve as Co-Head of the Antitrust and Public Procurement practice.
We are also pleased to introduce the Counsel of the practice - Sergey Zagraevsky.
This organizational step, as well as the firm's continued expansion, is aimed at systematizing and improving the effectiveness of our work in supporting Russian and international companies in matters of antitrust regulation and public procurement at all stages—from risk prevention to protecting rights and interests in administrative proceedings before antitrust authorities and the courts. The new, separate practice will combine ZTG expertise in competition protection, government procurement regulation, and intellectual property law, providing clients with comprehensive solutions tailored to the specifics of their business and the current regulatory and enforcement agenda.
Sergey Zagraevsky, Counsel in the Antitrust and Government Procurement Practice, has extensive experience in antitrust regulation and competition protection. He advises and represents clients in their dealings with government agencies and commercial partners, and develops and implements antitrust compliance systems. Sergey's professional experience allows him to effectively protect his clients' interests during scheduled and unscheduled inspections by antitrust authorities, and to represent them in proceedings challenging the procedures and results of competitive procurement procedures (Federal Laws 44-FZ and 223-FZ), including procedures for inclusion in the Register of unfair suppliers, as well as in cases involving the conclusion of anticompetitive agreements (cartels), market abuse, unfair competition, and inappropriate advertising. Sergey has experience working for the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and a number of law firms, including as an advisor to the antitrust practice.
